Bobbie Anderson rejoined the Law Offices of Chester B. McLaughlin, P.C. on November 18, 2009 after working 2 years as an estate planning and probate paralegal at Bredemann & McFarlane, PLC. Bobbi was previously employed with our firm as a paralegal from 2002 until 2007. Bobbi graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University in 1999 with a degree in criminal justice. She received her Certificate of Completion at the Arizona Paralegal Training Program in 2002.
Bobbi continues to focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and guardianship and conservatorship matters. Bobbi’s extensive experience in the area of elder law and her attention to detail provides clients with timely and accurate legal products. Our clients enjoy her professional and responsive attitude.
Lou Ann Jarvis joined the Law Offices of Chester B. McLaughlin in 2008 with ten years experience providing escrow services. Lou Ann is responsible for client intake, scheduling appointments and front desk management. Her attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and friendly nature ensures a pleasant and efficient experience for our clients.
Candace Schulte re-joined the Law Offices of Chester B. McLaughlin, P.C. in 2011 after a 2 year hiatus from the firm. Candace was previously employed with the firm from 2005 until 2008 as an ALTCS Planning Assistant. Candace brings over five years experience with the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCS). Her duties as an eligibility interviewer included evaluating ALTCS applications for eligibility and investigating financial holdings of applicants through face-to-face and telephonic interviews and independent verification. As an eligibility interviewer supervisor she was responsible for managing staff, reviewing case files to ensure correct application of ALTCS policy, and resolving customer complaints and issues. Candace also worked in the Quality Compliance department where she was responsible for reviewing eligibility determinations made by ALTCS and DES staff to ensure correct Medicaid eligibility for those programs.
Candace focuses on ALTCS/Medicaid planning, processing client applications with the ALTCS agency and doing research on other public benefits programs such as AHCCCS, SSI, and HUD. Candace's extensive ALTCS experience and in-depth knowledge of AHCCCS policy allow her to easily relate to seniors and their families, to translate complicated issues into understandable terms and to ensure that clients are well-informed of any public benefits potentially available to them. Candace is friendly, outgoing, and gets along extremely well with clients.
Barbara is married to Mr. McLaughlin and has been with the Law Offices of Chester B. McLaughlin since its inception in 1995. She graduated from Washington University George Warren Brown School of Social Work with a Masters in Social Work and graduated from St. Louis University with a law degree. She was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 1983. She is currently on inactive status with the Arizona State Bar. She benefits from both her social work experience and her legal experience in carrying out her duties as Firm Manager. Barbara oversees the operational and financial aspects of the law firm and is responsible for processing client billing invoices and payments.
